Private equity, growth and tech leadership moves across the market
Plus a key supplier of nuclear fuel and components to the Navy makes a promotion within its government group.
AE Industrial Partners
Jon Lusczakoski has moved up to the principal ranks at this private equity firm focused on the national security, aerospace and industrial services verticals.
Lusczakoski joined AEI as an associate in 2018 and has since focused much of his attention on the firm’s activity in space and national security.
Prior to AEI, he worked as a lead engineer at Williams International.
BWX Technologies
Gary Camper has moved up to president for the nuclear operations group, one of three businesses that are a part of BWXT’s government segment.
Camper now leads a team of 5,000 employees across four states that manufactures nuclear reactor components and fuel for Navy submarines and aircraft carriers.
He has spent the bulk of his four-decade industry career at BWXT’s largest manufacturing site in Lynchburg, Virginia and was most recently the nuclear operations group’s chief operating officer.
Castellum
Andrew “Drew” Merriman’s promotion to the chief operating officer role took effect on Sunday, approximately two months after Glen Ives’ promotion to CEO became official.
Merriman most recently was deputy COO and joined Castellum in 2021 following its acquisition of Merrison Technologies, which he co-founded and led as chief executive.
Prior to MTech, he worked for 10 years at Northrop Grumman in technical roles.
Data Systems Analysts
Joseph Bartasius has joined DSA as chief growth officer with responsibility for driving its push to expand across the government and academia markets.
The two-decade public sector veteran most recently worked at General Dynamics IT as a senior principal for the Army business. His industry career also includes roles at Science Applications International Corp. and the former L-3 Communications.
He is also a retired Army colonel who served in command and staff positions in airborne, light, special operations, Joint Commands, and training units.
JCS Solutions
Carter Raines has joined the digital transformation services provider as chief growth officer and brings 25 years of experience to the role.
JCS largely centers its offerings around cloud computing, cybersecurity and threat mitigation efforts at federal agencies.
Raines’ private sector career includes roles at ServiceNow and The MIL Corp. Prior to that, he led programs at the General Services Administration and Commerce Department.
Maximus
Mike Raker has joined as chief technology officer and will oversee the work to align technical solutions with the company’s enterprise strategy and business needs.
He also will oversee Maximus’ research-and-development activities in his new role of leading its technology and innovation organization.
Raker most recently worked as a vice president at Leidos. His career also includes CTO roles at several venture-backed product and service firms, including Improbable.
