Chugach Government Solutions
Dirk van der Vaart has joined the federal services provider as president following an approximately four-month process to identify and hire a new leader.
The 25-year market veteran most recently led the North America government and defense business at pureLiFi, a U.K-headquartered startup focused on building a new alternative to WiFi networking technologies.
Van der Vaart's career in industry prior to CGS includes leadership positions at Ultra Intelligence & Communications, GardaWorld Government Services, Gatekeeper Security, GLOBAL Integrated Security and Raytheon.
CGS also has hired 15-year government contracting veteran Michael Iacobucci as chief growth officer and senior vice president. Iacobucci joins after a stint as president of aviation and defense company Profense.
Calibre Systems
Jeremy Barnwell has been promoted to the vice president ranks after approximately two years as a capture director at this management consulting and digital transformation company.
Barnwell will oversee the execution of assigned projects and growth initiatives for Calibre's federal civil and commercial portfolio, which the company calls FCC.
He is a two-decade veteran of the market with experience in overseeing federal civilian and health accounts, as well as profit and loss centers.
His career prior to Calibre includes program leadership roles at Booz Allen Hamilton and Leidos.
Intelligent Waves
Whitney Barrera has moved up to chief people officer, a role that puts her in charge of the company's overall human resources function.
She first joined IW in 2022 as vice president of talent and the company credits her with having built a team of recruiters since then.
Prior to IW, Barrera spent a decade at Illuminate that included seven years as its director of talent management.
In that role, she was responsible for talent acquisition lifecycle and implementing a new SkillBridge program to draw more veteran employees.
Parsons Corp.
Roger Mason joined the government technology and infrastructure company on Monday as a senior vice president with three decades of national security experience.
He most recently worked as president of the space and intelligence sector at Peraton.
Mason's career also includes senior leadership positions at Noblis, General Dynamics and the Institute for Defense Analyses.
While in government, he served as the first assistant director of national intelligence for systems and resource analyses.
Science Applications International Corp.
Arjun Reddy will lead SAIC's mission advisory services practice in its work to, as the company puts it -- "deploy the best problem solvers to help our clients with their toughest mission-critical challenges."
The practice will be responsible for working with government chief information officers and other senior leaders on efforts to transform operations, optimize processes and advance on their digital modernization agendas.
Reddy joins SAIC after five years at Guidehouse that include the most recent two as a partner. His 25-year public sector career also includes roles at SourceHOV and PricewaterhouseCoopers, among other companies.
