Accenture's federal arm wins $250M Interior platform contract

Accenture's U.S. federal subsidiary has won a 10-year, $250 million contract to help the Interior Department agency responsible for administering federal lands operate and maintain a mission IT services platform.
Interior's Bureau of Land Management sought a provider of agile application development services and support in setting up an architecture for IT service delivery across the agency, BLM said in its Wednesday award notice.
The agency received five bids in total for the contract, according to Federal Procurement Data System records.
Accenture Federal Services will be responsible for integration, testing, audit support, system analysis, documentation, training and progress monitoring services.
