V2X hires Peraton vet as chief executive
Jeremy Wensinger will join V2X approximately two years after the completion of the merger that created the company.
V2X has hired a new chief executive in Jeremy Wensinger, a 35-year government market veteran and most recently chief operating officer at Peraton.
He will officially join V2X on June 17 and also take up a seat on its board of directors, the company said Monday. Wensinger succeeds Chuck Prow, who has led V2X as CEO since the merger that created it in the summer of 2022 and Vectrus for the six years before the transaction.
The pre-merger Vectrus focused on logistics, IT maintenance and military base operations. Vertex' core service lines were aircraft maintenance, systems engineering and training.
When first announcing their combination, Vectrus and Vertex leaders including Prow said the new company would focus its attention on programs that converge digital requirements and physical assets. V2X ended 2023 on $3.96 billion in revenue and employs approximately 16,000 people.
V2X cited Wensinger's background in organic growth, business development, technology strategies, integration and other operational improvement initiatives.
Wensinger joined Peraton as COO when that company launched in 2017 and subsequently helped lead two large integration activities in quick succession – the Northrop Grumman IT services business and Perspecta.
His career prior to Peraton includes leadership roles at Harris Corp., Cobham and PAE.
