Aretum promotes its tech chief to CEO

Aretum has promoted its next chief executive from within the company's own ranks in Rohit Gupta, formerly senior vice president and executive technologist.
The 25-year industry veteran most recently led the Aretum Labs organization that houses much of the company's emerging technology projects.
In announcing Gupta's promotion Tuesday, Aretum cited Gupta's background in both company operations and IT functions.
Aretum is backed by the private equity firm Renovus Capital Partners, which unveiled the company to the market in the spring of 2023 as a provider of management consulting, mission support and technology-centric services.
Renovus first created Aretum through the combination of three other portfolio businesses, then supported the acquisition of Artemis Consulting in the summer. Gupta was chief technology officer at Artemis at the time of the latter transaction.
