RealmOne adds another software development business
RealmOne and its backers Enlightenment Capital are working to build a larger, midsized technology integrator for the intelligence community.
RealmOne has acquired a provider of operations support and software development services to intelligence agencies approximately three months after being first unveiled to the market.
Through the the purchase of Torin Consulting, RealmOne also is looking to further solidify itself as one of the largest midsized cyber and intelligence-focused contractors in the national security community. Terms of the transaction announced Tuesday were not disclosed.
"By joining forces now, we will expand and enhance our portfolio of specialized capabilities, ensuring that we continue to meet our customers’ pressing challenges in the increasingly dynamic cyber, data science, and automation sectors,” Torin's co-founders Jaime Shafter and Evan Smith said in a release.
The 1,000-employee RealmOne is backed by the government market investment firm Enlightenment Capital, which first unveiled that name and identity to the market in January.
RealmOne came together through a series of acquisitions over the past two years that started with Enlightenment's backing of iNovex in the fall of 2022.
RealmOne describes its core technology focus areas as including data science, advanced analytics, hyper-automation and commercial software solutions.
