Crimson Pheonix adds pair of businesses

This is the newest round of acquisitions with the backing of Godspeed Capital Management.
Crimson Phoenix's private equity owner is continuing its work to build out the company as a go-to provider of digital technology solutions for intelligence agencies via acquisitions.
The most recent pair of transactions sees Godspeed Capital Management purchase TekMasters and Seaford Consulting, moves that add around 120 cyber and IT specialists to Crimson Phoenix. Other terms of the acquisitions announced Monday were not disclosed.
Godspeed first unveiled Crimson Phoenix to the market in December and supported the latter's acquisition of Cyberspace Solutions in the following month.
Crimson Phoenix CEO Ross O’Rourke said in a release that the new 120 employees bring expertise in areas such as software engineering, data management, financial consulting, business intelligence and program management.
Latham & Watkins LLP worked as legal adviser to Godspeed, while The McLean Group was the exclusive financial adviser to Seaford.
