CACI brings in former acting DOD acquisition leader
Tanya Skeen's new role at CACI International will include providing guidance and recommendations on future investments.
CACI International has hired a new senior vice president of corporate strategy and development in Tanya Skeen, who joins the company after two years of service as acting assistant defense secretary for acquisition.
Skeen's new role will include providing guidance and recommendations on CACI's investments, the company said Monday. She will also work with other senior executives on further iterating technology offerings, plus identifying trends and market shifts that inform investments.
In Skeen's most recent role, she led an approximately 200,000-employee team in managing the Defense Department's overall acquisition portfolio.
Her DOD civilian service also includes roles such as as executive director and deputy program executive officer for the F-35 fighter jet's program office, executive director of the Army's Rapid Capabilities Office, and deputy director of test and evaluation for the Air Force.
