Census Bureau awards $275M communications support pact
The agency sought a contractor to help it improve internal and external communications across all channels and other means of interactions with citizens.
The Census Bureau has awarded a potential five-year, $275 million blanket purchase agreement to J.R. Reingold & Associates for services in support of that agency's communications and digital services functions.
In a request for information from 2020, the Census Bureau outlined its search of a contractor to help it improve internal and external communications across all channels and other means of interactions with citizens.
Reingold will work with the Census Bureau to plan, design, produce, implement, integrate, and assess integrated communications and digital-wide services to create end-user awareness of the agency's programs.
The agency's goals are to strengthen its partnerships; support stakeholder relations; deliver research-backed user experiences; and educate, inform and grow our audiences.
Alexandria, Virginia-headquartered Reingold was the lone bidder for the pact that was signed on Sept. 15, according to Federal Procurement Data System records.
Reingold was involved in the Census Bureau's enterprise communications effort for the decennial count in 2020, having helped plan and create content for the 2020Census.Gov website.
The site directed approximately 50 million visitors to the online census form and produced pages in 59 languages, according to Reingold's website.
