The NewSpring Holdings-backed company is working on intelligence solutions around visualization, analytics and cybersecurity and other areas.

It has been a busy few months for the folks at Bridge Core.

They got acquired, made two acquisitions and appointed a new chief executive. Several notable names from the defense and intelligence world have also joined the board of directors.

Private equity firm NewSpring Holdings acquired Bridge Core in July to build an intelligence solutions provider focused on visualization, analytics, cybersecurity and other advanced technologies.

Once NewSpring purchased Bridge Core, the company appointed a new CEO in Chad Kim. Then in September, Bridge Core acquired GeoYeti to bring in more data and analytic solutions.

Bridge Core's latest moves announced Friday include the acquisition of TeKnoluxion, a technical solutions provider focused on hybrid cloud engineering and cloud development.

Terms of that deal were not disclosed. Bridge Core is bringing in TeKnoluxion with the goal of enhancing offerings around analysis, cybersecurity and DevSecOps software development.

“Their technical experts and leadership team will amplify our efforts to provide mission agility to the intelligence community,” Kim said in a release.

Chertoff Capital was financial adviser to TeKnoluxion, which looked to Morrison & Foerster as legal counsel. Blank Rome was legal counsel to Bridge Core.

Announcement number two from Bridge Core involves the addition of two new members to its board of directors. They are Sue Gordon, former principal deputy director of national intelligence, and retired Vice Adm. Bob Sharp.

Andy Maner was named executive chairman. Maner is the former CEO of Avantus, which was backed by NewSpring before its sale to QinetiQ's U.S. subsidiary in May 2022.
