Siemens' federal arm appoints interim chief executive

The now-former CEO takes up a new gig after four years at Siemens Government Technologies.
Siemens Government Technologies has appointed an interim chief executive as that company's now-former CEO takes on a new role at a nonprofit science organization.
In a LinkedIn posting Monday, the industrial software conglomerate's federal subsidiary said Chief Financial Officer John Ustica will take on the role of interim CEO after Tina Dolph joined CRDF Global as its chief global officer.
Dolph's new role marks a return for her to CRDF, where she was its chief strategy officer prior to her hire in 2018 as CEO of Siemens Government Technologies.
Ustica is a nearly two-decade veteran of Siemens and has been the federal subsidiary's chief financial officer for nearly four years.
“On behalf of the SGT Board of Directors, we are delighted for Tina as she accepts her new role at CRDF Global. CRDF’s mission is inspiring and will benefit from Tina’s passion," SGT board chair Anne Altman told WT in an email via a spokesman.
"We are fortunate that John Ustica has agreed to be our interim CEO. He has worked extensively with Tina over the past four years. We are confident in John and the SGT leadership team to further our success and commitment to our customers.”
Reston, Virginia-headquartered SGT is an independently-run subsidiary of Siemens. SGT acts as the Germany-headquartered parent company's preferred supplier for all federal contracts related to energy, health care, infrastructure, electric power and automation.
