Sigma Defense brings in new growth chief
This two-decade market veteran will lead Sigma Defense's business development function.
Sigma Defense Systems has hired a new chief growth officer in Scott Garren, a two-decade government and technology market veteran.
He will report to CEO Matt Jones and have responsibility over strategic growth and business development efforts, Sigma Defense said Wednesday.
The Parry, Georgia-headquartered company is backed by private equity firm Sagewind Capital and concentrates on providing systems and services for military communications programs, among others.
Garren most recently was chief growth officer at Interactive Government Holdings. His career also includes business development and leadership roles at ManTech, Smartronix and Booz Allen Hamilton.
