BigBear.ai adds new execs to lead research, product functions
A public company for nearly two months, BigBear.ai brings in a pair of senior-level executives to help oversee its research and product development aspects.
BigBear.ai has hired a pair of new senior vice presidents to lead its innovation and product development functions for government and private sector customers.
Todd Hughes has been appointed senior vice president of technology and research, and Dan Jones has been appointed senior vice president of products. Both executives will report to BigBear Chief Technology Officer Brian Frutchey, the company said Monday.
For BigBear.ai, these latest appointments come nearly two months after the artificial intelligence company became a publicly-traded entity.
Hughes will manage BigBear.ai’s research team, which is charged with driving innovations to update the company’s existing products and inform the development of new ones. The two-decade market veteran was most recently technical director of strategic projects and initiatives at CACI International.
Jones will lead all aspects of the development of BigBear.ai’s products that include vision, design, development and operations. He is also a two-decade veteran of the market and most recently was senior vice president of products at Skytap.
