Citizant adds three-decade vet Romola

Citizant said Wednesday it has hired nearly three-decade federal market veteran David Romola as senior vice president of operations.

Romola joins the Chantilly, Virginia-based government services company after four years as chief operations and growth officer at Expression Networks, which posted annual sales gains from $2 million to $27 million during his tenure there.

That jump placed Washington, D.C.-based Expression Networks at the top of the 2018 edition of WT’s Fast 50 rankings that list the fastest-growing small businesses in the government market.

Expression Networks achieved that placing not just through prime contract wins but relationships with larger companies, Romola told us in an interview last year.

Romola’s career also includes leadership roles at PwC, KPMG, Booz Allen Hamilton and Deloitte.
