HighPoint hires new CFO

HighPoint Global names former General Dynamics IT executive Jim Bottorff as chief financial officer.

HighPoint Global has appointed three decade federal technology market veteran and former General Dynamics IT executive Jim Bottorff as chief financial officer.

Bottorff will support strategy for HighPoint’s organic growth focused on digital and customer experience offerings for federal agencies, the company said Wednesday.

He joins HighPoint nearly one year-and-a-half after its acquisition of Primescape Solutions to expand digital transformation services focused on citizen interactions with agencies.

Primescape added more software development work to HighPoint, which seeks to create similar experiences with government that users have with commercial entities like banks and other financial institutions.

Prior to HighPoint, Bottorff was CFO at secure identity technology provider Idemia and spent 12 years as CFO for the federal and civilian division at General Dynamics’ IT services division.

Bottorff joined GDIT upon its acquisition of Anteon, where he held roles such as senior vice president of financial operations.
