Accenture grows Salesforce mix as Phase One buy closes

Accenture expands its Salesforce-based cloud and digital services for federal agencies as its acquisition of Phase One closes.

Accenture has closed its acquisition of Alexandria, Va.-based technology services provider Phase One to grow Salesforce-based offerings for federal agencies.

First announced in June, the transaction for undisclosed terms represents Accenture's first Salesforce-related acquisition in the federal market. Phase One helps federal agencies perform IT modernization and digital transformation projects through the Salesforce cloud platform

Phase One was founded in 1997 and its main areas of focus include national infrastructure, finance and regulatory services, human services, health care and homeland security.

The company holds a Salesforce Platinum Consulting Partner certification and joins Accenture Federal Services upon the transaction's closure. AFS is the Arlington, Va.-based federal subsidiary of the global professional services provider.
