Deloitte names 12-year firm vet to lead federal tech practice

Deloitte shifts 12-year firm veteran and its former federal innovation lead Nishita Henry to a new role as federal technology practice head.

Deloitte has appointed 12-year firm veteran and its former federal innovation leader Nishita Henry to lead the consulting and advisory service provider's federal technology practice.

Her new role encompasses leadership of at least 3,000 staffers that work with federal agencies on programs to and modernize their technology systems with focus areas that include applications, cloud, analytics and systems operations.

As federal innovation head, Henry led the creation of a new grassroots innovation organization that focused on new product development.

Prior to that, Henry led the Deloitte federal technology strategy and architecture team, where she started development of the firm's federal cloud offering and helped oversee digital experience projects.

Henry's career at Deloitte also includes leadership roles for the firm's projects with the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and Food and Drug Administration.
