General Dynamics has won a potential 10-year, $4.5 billion contract for user-facing and data center services to support multiple networks and security domains of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
The defense company’s IT services segment will work with NGA to further iterate that agency’s cloud computing and desktop environments around the world, according to a Sam.gov notice posted Monday.
Work will take place over an initial five-year base period and up to five individual option years. Locations include three NGA core sites in Springfield, Virginia; plus St. Louis and Arnold in Missouri.
GDIT will also perform the services out of least 150 Defense Department and intelligence community sites around the world.
A majority of the requirements are classified beyond the high-level description in the award notice.
