TorchAI acquires data warehousing tech firm

Data processing software company Torch.AI has acquired The DataTech Group to add more products and expertise in warehousing, decision support and enterprise architectures.

Terms of the transaction announced Tuesday were not disclosed.

Southern Illinois-headquartered DataTech built its product to work in IT environments and systems from Teradata, Oracle, Sybase, Informix and others. The company touts the Defense Information Systems Agency as among the user base.

For Torch.AI, the company is pursuing additional capabilities for its product line to support data processing at high speeds with drag-and-drop functionalities.

Torch.AI designs its tool for fighting fraud, securing information, making decisions and supporting the customer experience.
