Four win seats on $240M Army future concept contract

Four companies have won positions on a five-year, $240 million contract to work with the Army’s Futures and Concepts Center on addressing current and emerging challenges for soldiers.

The Army received 15 bids in total for the contract and awardees will compete for task orders to support the center, according to the Pentagon’s Monday awards digest.

Booz Allen Hamilton, Janus Research Group and Valiant will continue as incumbents with CAE as the newcomer. Valiant inherited its position on the contract through its acquisition of the Cubic defense services business three years ago.

Work areas include concept development, requirements and experiments focused on the future force.

Formerly known as the Army Capabilities Integration Center, what is now the Futures and Concepts Center focuses on helping shape the Army for 2035.
