The Navy selects 11 companies for a $249.7 million contract to support operations in cybersecurity and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems.

The Navy has awarded 11 companies positions on a potential five-year, $249.7 million contract for technical services to help the branch carry out operations in cybersecurity and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance..

A total of 22 contractors bid on the opportunity that will see them bid for task orders to perform work over a three-year base period and potentially a two-year option term afterward, the Pentagon said in its Thursday awards digest.

Work areas will include systems engineering, software and hardware development, training, program and configuration management, installation, sustainment and maintenance services.
