ManTech promotes new human resources chief from within

ManTech promotes one of its own executives to be the company's new chief human resources officer.

ManTech has promoted one of its own executives in Julie Anna Barker, a nearly two-decade industry veteran, to the role of chief human resources officer.

Barker will report to Chairman and CEO Kevin Phillips and be responsible developing and rolling out human capital strategies, ManTech said Wednesday.

She joined ManTech in 2019 as vice president of human resources and talent acquisition to support the company’s intelligence business. Last year, Barker moved up to vice president of HR sector operations and has been the company’s acting HR chief since December 2020.

Prior to ManTech, she spent 14 years at Northrop Grumman in leadership roles involving talent and human capital.
