SAIC clinches $830M Army recompete

Science Applications International Corp. reports its win of an $830 million recompete of its contract for engineering and integration services to support the Army’s aviation systems.
Science Applications International Corp. has reported its win of the potential $830 million recompete of its contract for engineering and integration services to support the Army’s aviation systems.
SAIC booked the work as a task order through the General Service Administration’s OASIS professional services contract vehicle. Work will take place over up to five-and-a-half years, SAIC said Tuesday.
The company will support manned and unmanned systems, subsystems, components and equipment.
Work can extend to all branches of the military, other government agencies, research and development and education partners, universities and research centers and for foreign military sales.
For SAIC, this is its second major recompete win with the Army over the past year including the $2.9 billion capture of a software development task order in May 2020.
