Widepoint Corp. has secured the recompete of its contract to help the Homeland Security Department acquire broad professional services to support DHS’ mobility efforts.
The second iteration of the Cellular Wireless Managed Services contract has a $500 million ceiling over one base year and up to four individual option years through November 2025, Widepoint said Wednesday.
Fairfax, Virginia-based Widepoint won the original CWMS contract in 2013 at a ceiling of $600 million and DHS has spent $285.2 million since, according to Deltek data.
Widepoint’s core areas of work will include a web-based wireless management portal for acquiring devices and other equipment, broad telecommunications management services, program management, performance management and transition services.
DHS can also use the contract to acquire in-building wireless connectivity, onsite support, surge support, executive support and portal modifications.
