ManTech books $260M Navy ISR aircraft order
ManTech confirms its win of a $260 million task order to help the Navy update mission systems in manned aircraft used for maritime patrol and reconnaissance missions.
ManTech has reported its win of a four-year, $260 million task order to help the Navy update mission systems in the branch’s manned aircraft used for maritime patrol and reconnaissance missions.
This order is a follow-on to work that began in 2018 to support the Naval Air Systems Command, ManTech said Thursday. The new order was awarded through the Defense Department’s massive IAC-MAC vehicle for technology transformation and knowledge-related services.
Navy officials sought new technology solutions for their fleet of P-3C Orion and P-8A Poseidon aircraft that are deployed for anti-submarine and anti-surface electronic warfare, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance and survivability missions.
The program’s scope involves quick reaction and engineering analyses for total lifecycle management, and logistical support.
