DC Capital's latest investment eyes hypersonics
Private equity firm DC Capital Partners unveils another government market investment and the company being backed this time focuses on hypersonics work.
Private equity firm DC Capital Partners has invested in Hill Technical Solutions, a government services company whose focus areas include systems architecture design and hypersonic testing.
Terms of this new partnership announced Thursday were undisclosed. HTSI is seeking to grow both its customer base and set of offerings, the company said in a release.
Some of the defense agencies that HTSI works with include the Missile Defense Agency, Army, Navy and Air Force.
The Huntsville, Alabama-based company touts its services as encompassing system assessment, cybersecurity, modeling and simulation, and testing.
Duff & Phelps acted as financial adviser to HTSI with Holland & Knight the legal advisers, while Latham & Watkins was the legal adviser to DC Capital.
DC Capital’s announcement comes in the same week of others just like it, including news of another private equity-backed acquisition and the unveiling of a new company after a series of other deals.
