SAIC takes $753M Army National Guard intell contract

Science Applications International Corp. has won a $752.7 million contract for intelligence services and support for the Army National Guard but more details remain scant.
Science Applications International Corp. has won a $752.7 million contract to work with the Army National Guard Intelligence and Security Directorate on improving its intelligence services.
A lot of details aren’t available yet as SAIC declined comment. The Military Intelligence Services and Support contract was awarded as a task order under the OASIS vehicle so we haven’t tracked down any solicitation documents.
We do know it is a five-year award and SAIC will provide mission support and improve readiness of the intelligence and security directorate.
In 2018, the Army National Guard put out a request for information that appears to be related. That RFI described three areas of support that were needed – strategic level plans and analysis and policy review; knowledge management, collection and integration; and readiness assessments, data collection and analysis.
Both the Federal Procurement Data System and Beta.Sam.Gov said the award was made Sept. 4 and there were four bidders including SAIC. There is still a possibility a protest could be filed.
