Service-disabled, veteran-owned firm Evoke brings aboard a 25-year market veteran to be its next chief operating officer.

Arlington, Virginia-based Evoke Consulting has hired former Engility Corp. executive and 25-year federal market veteran Michael Dallara as chief operating officer.

Dallara will oversee Evoke’s service delivery and business operations, the government IT company said Wednesday.

Most recently, Dallara was executive vice president at Cyber Defense Technologies. His career prior to that includes roles such as chief operating officer at Sevatec and senior vice president and general manager for what was Engility’s civilian business.

Dallara also worked in leadership positions at the companies formerly known as L3 Technologies and Harris Corp.

Evoke is a service-disabled, veteran-owned Small Business that provides professional services and other technology-related support to agencies in areas such as management, organizational improvement and engineering.
