SEC awards small biz on-ramp for $2.5B IT contract

The Securities and Exchange Commission moves on awarding the small business on-ramp for $2.5 billion enterprise IT services contract after getting past an initial hiccup in the solicitation.
The Securities and Exchange Commission has made awards for the small business on-ramp of a $2.5 billion enterprise IT services contract after previously making a second try at posting the solicitation.
In a Beta.Sam.Gov notice posted Monday, the SEC announced 10 companies will join the One OIT program that is the agency’s centralized mechanism for acquiring services to manage its IT infrastructure.
New awards went to:
- ActionHGS
- Ardent Technologies
- Aretech
- CPDS joint venture
- ITS Agile
- RCH Partners
- Spatial Front
- Steelwater IT
- Ventech-Snap joint venture
- Veterans EZ Info
Those 10 will join the 15 small businesses initially chosen in 2018 for the first round of One OIT awards. Accenture Federal Services, Attain and Booz Allen Hamilton were chosen for the unrestricted track.
The SEC hit a slight bump along the way to get to this point in April of last year, when the agency paused the small business on-ramp to review the procurement and issues raised by then-protestor Ekagra Partners.
More protests could be on the way though depending on how the post-award debriefings go, given that the SEC received 77 bids for the small business on-ramp.
