Perspecta hires new exec to steer trusted workforce push
Perspecta brings aboard a nearly two-decade government market veteran to help push the company's strategy of being a leader in the trusted workforce concept.
Perspecta has hired nearly two-decade Booz Allen Hamilton veteran Jennifer Swindell as senior vice president and general manager of the risk decision group.
Swindell will be responsible for the company’s trusted workforce initiatives and day-to-day operations for background investigations services, Perspecta said Tuesday.
The trusted workforce concept includes not just the background investigations to first evaluate people for security clearances, but continuous monitoring efforts after that to address potential insider threats and supply chain issues.
At Booz Allen, Swindell was most recently a senior vice president and led the firm’s work with the departments of Justice, Homeland Security and Transportation.
