Financial data intell firm gets IC venture arm's support

Financial data intelligence firm Sayari Labs gets additional capital in a fundraising round that brought the intelligence community’s venture capital arm on board as a new backer.

Financial data intelligence firm Sayari Labs has gained a $2.5 million extension to its $9 billion round of Series B fundraising with three new investors on board, including the intelligence community’s venture capital arm In-Q-Tel.

Growth stage investment firm MissionOG and veteran-led venture capital outfit Task Force X Capital are the other two new investors, Sayari said Tuesday.

They join current investors Arsenal Growth, Lavrock Ventures and NS2 Ventures -- the startup investment arm of the SAP National Security Solutions subsidiary.

Sayari will use the funds to further develop its flagship Graph product that financial institutions and other multinational businesses use in compliance with regulations such as Know Your Customer, Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions, Beneficial Ownership and Anti-Bribery & Corruption.

Graph is designed to give a full picture of customers, vendors, counterparties, their key personnel, hierarchies, subsidiaries, and related parties, all while maintaining provenance back to official documents from their countries of origin.
