Amentum adds retired Army major general

Amentum adds a nearly four-decade Army veteran and former Fluor executive as head of project services.
Amentum has appointed retired Army Maj. Gen. Camille Nichols as executive vice president of project services to oversee the company’s contracts and procurement functions.
Germantown, Maryland-based Amentum said Tuesday that Nichols will also lead its ethics, information technology, security and real estate organizations.
Nichols is a nearly four-decade military veteran whose career in the Army includes service in roles such as director of business operations in the Army’s Office of Business Transformation and commanding general for Army Contracting Demand.
Most recently, she worked at Fluor’s government group as vice president of business operations.
