Redhorse adds former DHS CIO Zangardi
Government IT outfit Redhorse Corp. brings aboard a new company president in John Zangardi, the former Homeland Security CIO.
Government technology services firm Redhorse Corp. has hired as president John Zangardi, the former Homeland Security Department chief information officer.
Redhorse said Tuesday that its founder David Inmon will continue as CEO and focus on the company’s strategic growth efforts, while Zangardi will be responsible for day-to-day operations and be based in Washington, D.C.
Zangardi most recently was a senior vice president at Leidos, which he joined in November 2019 after nearly two years as DHS’ CIO.
He is also a former acting CIO for the Defense Department, a role that followed service as principal deputy CIO; and also served as deputy assistant Navy secretary for C4I, information operations and space.
