ManTech elevates one of its group presidents to chief operating officer as part of a reorganization.

ManTech has promoted one of its group presidents in Matt Tait to chief operating officer as part of a reorganization slated to take effect July 1.

In a release Monday, the company said it is also realigning from having two business groups to three sectors: intelligence, defense and federal civilian.

Adam Rudo, Andrew Twomey and Bryce Pippert will be promoted from their senior vice president positions to become executive VPs and general managers for the intelligence, defense and federal civilian sectors. Twomey and Pippert currently oversee ManTech’s defense and federal civilian businesses, while Rudo leads the security solutions business unit.

Tait joined ManTech in July 2018 as president of the mission solutions and services group with responsibility over the delivery of engineering, technology and digital services for national security and federal civilian missions. That role also involved aligning that line of work with ManTech’s “Bringing Digital to the Mission” strategy.

As COO, Tait will report directly to CEO Kevin Phillips. The three sector leads will report to Tait.
