Karklin joined AeroVironment in 2009 and has been its SVP of operations since December 2018. He previously was vice president and general manager of the company’s efficient energy systems segment that was divested in June 2018.

His career prior to AeroVironment includes leadership roles at Agilent Technologies, a spinoff of the former Hewlett-Packard, at HP itself and Intel.
