SAIC creates growth exec role, hires Booz Allen vet
Science Applications International Corp. creates a new C-level growth leadership role and hires a two-decade Booz Allen Hamilton veteran for it.
Science Applications International Corp. has hired nearly two-decade Booz Allen Hamilton veteran Dorothy “Dee Dee” Helfenstein to the newly-created role of executive vice president and chief strategic growth officer.
In a release Monday, SAIC said it created the position to focus on organic growth and strengthening the company’s digital transformation services to the federal government.
At Booz Allen, Helfenstein was an executive vice president and led that firm’s solutions business. Helfenstein was selected for a 2019 Fed 100 award for her work to start an entirely new business line that delivered two new solutions: District Defend to manage mobile devices and a cloud-native digital platform that supports Recreation.gov.
