ASRC Federal appoints new CEO
ASRC Federal promotes now-former Chief Operating Officer Jennifer Felix to the CEO post.
ASRC Federal said Tuesday it has promoted Jennifer Felix to president and CEO, nearly one year after she joined the company as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
The 25-year federal market veteran most recently led ASRC Federal’s day-to-day operations, along with an enterprise-wide business strategy and market review to align with growth opportunities. Felix succeeds Mark Gray, who previously led the company for nearly six years.
Felix's promotion "was an elemental part of the company’s succession planning," ASRC Federal said in a statement emailed through a spokesperson.
"The organization is grateful to Mark Gray for his contributions to the growth of the company and his support to Jennifer as she takes over the CEO position, and wishes him success in his future endeavors. We are pleased to have an established industry leader of Jennifer’s caliber at the helm."
Prior to ASRC Federal, Felix was chief financial officer for the former Vencore and led that company through its merger with two other businesses to create what is now Perspecta.
She also was CFO at the former Vangent, which General Dynamics acquired in 2011. Her career also includes roles at Science Applications International Corp. and the former American Management Systems.
