Dovel appoints new growth chief
Dovel Technologies hires a new chief growth officer as the company aims to further climb the food chain of the market's middle tier.
Dovel Technologies said Wednesday it has hired 25-year government market veteran Hitesh “Tesh” Vashistha as chief growth officer to oversee business development and other long-term initiatives.
Vashistha joins Dovel from Perspecta, where he led growth and strategy for the health group. He also spent nine years at ICF in roles such as head of business development for health informatics and strategic capture for corporate business development.
McLean, Virginia-based Dovel has transitioned over the last six years from a small business to a mid-tier company with at least $300 million in annual revenue and 2,200 employees.
Last year was one of transition for Dovel as the health IT and life sciences firm was acquired by private equity firm Macquarie Capital, then used that backing to purchase Ace Info Solutions.
Dovel also went through a CEO succession that saw Damon Griggs take the reins from former long-time chief Paul Leslie, who is executive chairman.
