Cask looks inside for new president

Cask Government Services said Tuesday it has promoted its former business development chief and nearly 20-year federal market veteran Kate Ehrle to the role of president.

The Stafford, Virginia-based company focuses on program management, cybersecurity, logistics, technology, business analysis and engineering services for the federal government.

Ehrle will oversee Cask’s strategy to enter its next phase of growth, while also overseeing operations and delivery of services to defense and civilian agencies.

She was Cask’s director of business development for eight years. She joined Cask from L-3 Communications and held a similar role there with a focus on acquisition, logistics, training and program management services for the Marine Corps.

Her career also includes a stop at IBM as a managing consultant and project manager.

According to USASpending.gov, Cask received nearly $31.8 million in prime contract obligations during the government’s 2019 fiscal year. Its two largest customers are the Agriculture and Defense departments with most of its DOD business in the Navy.
