Steampunk hires Salient CRGT, CSRA vet as new defense lead
Steampunk appoints former Salient CRGT and CSRA executive Nick Trczinski to the leadership team to help steer defense growth.
Steampunk has hired nearly 10-year industry veteran Nick Trzcinski as senior vice president of its defense sector in a move that took effect on Sept. 30.
Trzcinski is the latest executive to join the government technology contractor formed earlier this year by many of the leaders behind Agilex.
Earlier this month, Steampunk unveiled the team that will lead its civilian business which includes former Salesforce executive Max Licht as that unit’s senior vice president.
Trzcinski most recently was a senior vice president for growth at Salient CRGT and focused on that company’s defense and intelligence practice.
Prior to that, he was a vice president at General Dynamics’ IT services division with responsibility for work with the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard.
He joined GDIT upon its acquisition of CSRA, where he led portfolios in the sea services and Defense Department’s operations in Washington, D.C.
