Acquisition and professional services outfit ACT I hires a former CACI International executive to oversee growth and business development functions.

Government services company ACT I said Monday it has hired nearly three-decade market veteran and former CACI International executive Michael Zembrzuski as chief growth officer.

Zembrzuski will also lead business development activities for Arlington, Virginia-based ACT I in addition to organic and inorganic growth strategies.

ACT I stands for Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, a small business that provides acquisition management and other professional services to federal agencies.

For CACI, Zembrzuski was executive vice president and business group manager for its intelligence sector practice.

He joined CACI upon its 2013 acquisition of Six3 Systems, where he was an executive vice president and equity partner.
