Grant Thornton adds former Veterans Affairs Department executive Ricci Mulligan to the firm's leadership team.
Grant Thornton has hired former Veterans Affairs Department executive and 37-year public sector veteran Ricci Mulligan as a director for the consulting firm’s health care practice.
Mulligan will support Grant Thornton’s work with the VA and other agencies regarding their health care initiatives, the firm said in a release Tuesday.
She joins Grant Thornton from Leidos, where she was a senior technical director in its health group.
At the VA, Mulligan most recently was acting principal deputy assistant secretary for its Office of Information and Technology. She led the management of resources and alignment of them with the VA’s ongoing transformation efforts.
She is also a former executive director for the VA’s IT and budget function, plus served as deputy chief financial officer for the department’s OI&T office.
Her federal service career prior to the VA includes an assistant director in the resource management office at the Homeland Security Department’s Federal Protective Service.
