Cybercom taps Applied Insight to help lead cloud migration
Cyber Command has selected Applied Insight to help lead the move of operations and activities into a cloud environment.
U.S. Cyber Command is looking to Applied Insight for help in moving more operations and activities into a cloud environment.
In a release Thursday, Applied Insight said its Stratus Solutions subsidiary will work with Cybercom to rapidly adopt commercial cloud services with the company’s flagship Altitude platform as the foundation for this effort.
Applied Insight announced its acquisition of Stratus in February as part of a push to more formidable middle-tier player with the backing of private equity firm The Acacia Group.
Altitude is a platform-as-a-service offering designed to help organizations manage multiple cloud environments, often from more than one vendor, with security and compliance with the governmentwide “Cloud Smart” strategy in mind.
Applied Insight will focus on providing an architecture design and cloud governance model to Cybercom, along with services such as implementation and operation.
An award notice in the Federal Procurement Data System indicates the contract has a $13 million ceiling value over one initial base year and two option years.
Altitude is one of several winners of this year’s WT Industry Innovator award, part of the larger Government Innovation Awards scheduled for Nov. 7.
