CACI books $443M Army commercial tech threat order

CACI International confirms its win of a $443 million task order to help the Army respond to commercial technologies used against the U.S. military.
CACI International has booked a five-year task order worth up to $443 million to work with the Army on rapid responses to threats from commercial-based technologies.
The Army’s Combat Capabilities Development Command sought help in prototyping technologies and other solutions to mitigate how U.S. adversaries use modified off-the-shelf products, CACI said in a release Wednesday.
Arlington, Virginia-based CACI was chosen for the order through the General Services Administration’s OASIS professional services contract vehicle. GSA and the Army received one other bid for the order, according to contracting information from the Federal Procurement Data System.
Work will include reverse engineering, prototype development and technical intelligence to analyze technological threats both in laboratories and in the field.
