Air Force chooses eight for $950M technical support contract

The Air Force makes eight awards on a $950 million contract for technical services in areas such as network architecture and cybersecurity.
Eight companies have won positions on a potential 10-year, $950 million contract for broad analytical and technical services to the Air Force in areas such as network architecture and cybersecurity.
The service branch received 10 offers for the contract to support the Secretary of the Air Force’s Concepts, Development and Management Office (SAF/CDM) that leads explorations of new concepts and development of emerging opportunities.
Awardees will bid for task orders over the contract’s duration to September 2029, the Defense Department said in its Tuesday awards digest.
Winners are:
- Altamira Technologies
- Booz Allen Hamilton
- Deloitte Consulting
- Fulcrum IT Services (acquired by Huntington Ingalls Industries)
- ManTech International
- MCR Federal
- Novetta
- Science Applications International Corp.
Solicitation documents are sparse on details regarding incumbents on the work other than to say those companies are “several individual technical solution contractors” such as Novetta, General Dynamics and ManTech International.
The new contract seeks support to plan and build new capabilities for coalition information sharing, research and develop new cyber prototypes, and transition emerging technologies for use in data analytics.
