Woman-owned firm purchases health IT contractor
Woman-owned business A-TEK acquires a federal health care IT contractor whose customers include HHS and the VA.
Woman-owned small business A-TEK has acquired federal health care IT contractor Mackson Consulting to broaden the customer base and add new technical skills.
Terms of the transaction were undisclosed. The companies said Monday that Mackson brings to A-TEK work with agencies such as the Health and Human Services and Veterans Affairs departments, Food and Drug Administration, National Institutes of Health, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Mackson’s portfolio of services cover technology areas such as data management and analytics, systems integration, mobile applications, enterprise architecture and “DevOps.”
A-TEK is headquartered in McLean, Virginia and its customers include the Homeland Security, Justice and Commerce departments; plus the NIH National Library of Medicine.
