SRC expands radar R&D work through acquisition

Nonprofit R&D outfit SRC buys Saze, a company that focuses on radar research-and-development.
Nonprofit research-and-development firm SRC has acquired SAZE, a company founded in 2012 that focuses on radar R&D work.
Terms of the transaction were undisclosed, but SRC said in a release Monday that the deal adds 11 employees to its workforce.
SAZE was founded in 2012 and has worked with SRC both as a subcontractor and teammate.
As of Monday, SAZE becomes a subsidiary of the SRC Ventures organization that invests in other businesses that bring emerging technologies into new markets.
