Cognosante brings aboard former GD exec

Cognosante has hired nearly two-decade market veteran and former General Dynamics executive Chad Thyes as senior vice president and general manager for two business groups.

Thyes will oversee Cognosante’s civilian health division and its “J.Lodge” group that includes contact center quality assurance and performance analytics services to government and commercial sector customers, the company said Thursday.

He joins Cognosante after nearly a decade at GD’s IT services segment, where he was a program vice president with oversight of work with customers such as federal health agencies, provider networks and the University of Maryland system.
