Fresh off its rebrand, Centauri has added three-decade government market veteran Dennis Kelly to the leadership team as president and chief operating officer.
Kelly will help lead the Chantilly, Virginia-based company as it eyes growth opportunities both organically and through acquisitions, Centauri said Tuesday.
Led by CEO Dave Dzaran, Centauri launched under the current name in April after its private equity owners Arlington Capital Partners combined three other portfolio companies into the new brand.
Other key focus areas for Kelly at Centauri will include business development and talent acquisition. Centauri said Kelly has already hired former PAE and A-T Solutions executive Patricia Nunn as senior vice president of business development, while former Versar executive Sandy Albers has been appointed vice president of human resources.
More recently, Kelly was president and CEO of Buchanan & Edwards after another stint as chief executive of Iomaxis. He also led A-T Solutions as CEO through its sale in 2015 to PAE.
