Find opportunities — and win them.

Cubic Corp. names 25-year defense market veteran Martin Amen to lead business development for a product line the company acquired earlier this year.

Cubic Corp. has appointed 25-year defense market veteran Martin Amen as vice president of strategy and business development for Nuvotronics, which was acquired in March.

Amen will lead efforts to define and implement a product line growth strategy for Nuvotronics that aligns with Cubic’s long-term vision for the latter’s mission solutions business, the company said Monday.

San Diego-based Cubic purchased Nuvotronics in a move aimed at further growing a portfolio of secure communications technologies for use in markets like space and 5G communications.

Prior to Cubic, Amen was senior director of secure network operations at Northrop Grumman. His career also includes profit and loss roles at companies such as Logicon and Eagle Technology.
